Apple cider vinegar is nothing but cider fermented using yeast and other bacteria. This fermentation process produces a compound called acetic acid in the vinegar. Acetic acid has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It also contains malic fruit acid.
There are several ways to use apple cider vinegar in your skin care. Test first what effect this substance has on your complexion – if you are sensitive, you may experience irritation.
A teaspoon of vinegar mixed with ¼ cup of warm water is a good, natural liquid that you can use to wash your face daily instead of harsh soaps and chemicals. You can also make a facial toner out of vinegar. Just mix it with demineralized water in a ratio of 1:2. Wash your skin with a cotton ball or spray it with an atomizer.
You can also use apple cider vinegar as a spot treatment on single imperfections, including those just forming. Then apply pure vinegar on the blemish with a cotton bud or a cotton swab. The antibacterial liquid will inhibit the growth of the pimple and help it heal quickly. It is also great as an ingredient of a mask: mix half a teaspoon of starch with 2-3 drops of apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of water. Apply the concoction to your face and leave for 15 minutes. Repeat once a week.
You should also know that apple cider vinegar is also great for hair care. Thanks to a rinse based on it your hair will be healthier and shinier. Your scalp will also feel the positive effects of its use. How to make such a preparation? Dissolve two tablespoons of vinegar in a liter of water. How should you use it? After washing, apply it to your hair, leave it on for two minutes, then rinse and apply your favorite conditioner
