How to use cucumber face packs?

Thoroughly wash and pat dry your face to keep it clean and fresh. Chill the cucumber in the refrigerator. Then wash it, cut off the end and cut two slices, each about 1 centimeter thick. You may want to remove the peel to minimize the risk of any agricultural chemicals, such as pesticides, or possible soil and sand particles getting into your eyes.

Lay down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and place a cucumber slice over each eye. If you are using cucumbers as an additive to a mask, apply the mask to your face first and then the cucumber slices to your eyes. Relax. You can also do this treatment while taking a bath in the tub.

If the cucumbers become warm, you can flip them over to the other side, which should still be cool. Do not repeat this step more than once, dirty slices can cause an eye infection.

Remove the slices after about 15 minutes. This time is enough to have a salutary effect on your eyes and their surroundings.

If you specifically want to remove dark circles and bags under your eyes, you can also make a spot mask. Grind a few slices of chilled cucumber and then combine it with coconut oil and a little honey. Mix well until you get the consistency of a paste. Gently apply the mask under your eyes. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and then remove with a damp cloth.
